Solar Energy is the sun’s radiation that reaches the earth. It is the most readily available source of energy. The sun is the earth’s power station and the source of all energy on our planet. We use solar energy every day in many different ways. When we hang washed clothes outside to dry in the sun, we are using the solar heat to do work, drying our clothes. Plants use solar light to make food. Similarly, solar panels absorb the energy of the sun to provide heat for cooking and for heating water.
