The International Copper Association India (ICA India) is a nonprofit organisation engaged in raising awareness about the beneficial usage of copper for safety, health, environment and energy efficiency, and clean energy technology, throughout India, in collaboration with policymakers, regulators, like-minded organisations, institutions, trade bodies and other key stakeholders. We are dedicated to strengthening India's copper sector by working with industry partners to achieve sustainable development goals.
ICA India is committed to supporting the government's sustainable development path over the next 25 years, known as India's 'Amrit Kaal.' This initiative aims to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, the centenary year of Indian independence.
Given copper's essential role, it will significantly contribute to 'New India's' growth story and facilitate the transition to a clean energy nation. While the government shapes the business environment, the copper industry must collaborate to guide policy development coherently.
ICA India acts as a unifying force, bringing together fragmented aspects of the copper industry on a common platform. We facilitate discussions and explore solutions related to quality, availability, and copper's role in India's transition journey.
ICA India also conducts various awareness campaigns, workshops, and training programs to educate electrical professionals, industry stakeholders, and consumers. Our goal is to become the platform that integrates the voices of the copper industry to create a modern, greener, safer, reliable and sustainable environment in India.
