Avinash Khemka

Avinash Khemka, in his current role, develops and oversees strategic action for positioning copper as a sustainable and safe metal in India. A market analyst at heart, Avinash makes use of emerging trends, technical information, market intelligence and in-house research to develop roadmap for copper’s role in mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and minimizing fire risk in buildings.

A problem solver, Avinash’ favourite achievement is of promoting copper tubes as a durable, energy efficient, eco-friendly and economical coil solution to the air conditioners industry in India. He is also proud of his contribution to ICA India’s on-going effort to integrate copper value chain to project copper as an essential metal for India’s Vision @ 2047.

When not in office, Avinash is enthusiastic about playing badminton, traveling, and exploring music from different genres.
